The only rule: six (6) of your players must have at least 3000 minutes. It should allow for the use of a number of different players.

46 million is way too low of a cap for what you're proposing. Due to the whole "more minutes= higher salary" thing, 3000+ minute players are generally really expensive. If you make the cap around 52-55 million, it will be a lot easier to build.

I do not think the league would be so interesting then, hoops... just another high cap version with a mandatory mins thing. however, if the cap is set lower, as rub proposes, the pool of players offered would be of a larger mix. not too interested in a high cap league for this one.

Agree to disagree. I'm intrigued by the concept, but finding it hard to find 6 players with 3000 minutes and keep it with room to spare for the other 6 guys. The math: 6 guys (scrubs) around $250,000 each. With the $46 million cap, that leaves about 44.5 mil for the 6 other players. Now, find 6 "usable" guys with 3000 minutes with an average salary of around 7.4 million. It's not easy. I did it, but there's no way I'm staking my record on it when Antoine Walker is playing 40 minutes a game...
