We are the Post War League, preparing for our 28th season, and the 1973 Draft....The San Francisco Giants Franchise is available.
We are a 20-team league playing 4 divisions, the Giants are in the NL West.  These Giants are a team in transition, one look at their roster and you see the aging Hall-of-Famers, however they still have a few years left.  There are also a  number of moderate stars on the roster...there are 8 future All-Stars, 5 for 1973.  Here is the Roster:

C	Rodriguez, Ellie
C	Yeager, Steve
1B	Cater, Danny
1B	McCovey, Willie
2B	Brohamer, Jack
2B	Doyle, Denny

There are 28 players on the Giants roster, 2 others have retired....we carry more than 25 because after the Rookie Draft we have a 4 player AAA draft and they also had 1 player on the DL last season....You can keep as many as you like and cut the rest....you must get under 25 players to be in the '73 Rookie Draft.....If you keep 20 players you get 5 picks, etc.  The AAA draft is held after the Rookie draft is finished.
The Giants are currently 61-72, we do not determine the draft order until the regular season is over, right now they are in a knot of teams looking at the #7 thru #10 positions.....
We are planning on expanding in the 1977 season to bring us up to 24 teams....the American League will go to the Designated Hitter Rule this year....

Any questions, send me a sitemail, if you want the Giants please post here....
Thanks for your interest and Good Luck...

I'd like this team

Great, I will give you access to the league thread, you can post keepers whenever you are ready.  We still have 30 games to play in the regular season.....
