It's not 1982....cell phones are loaded with minutes, and anyone making a decent amount of phone calls for business purposes will just get unlimited minutes.  

 

I think it would make more sense to have calls be free but have a limit of say 50 calls each recruiting period....just to throw a number out there.  It would allow you to see if you were a back up, out of your league, etc without having to throw money away and it would also make it a bit more realistic. 

Recruiting is probably the one thing that would be impossible to make realistic.  Whats realistic about having 150 Home Visits with a player?  Nothing, but in the context of a battle that stuff happens.

Calls are very cheap at $10.  Definitely worth spending that little amount of money to find out if you're a backup.

Especially doing 150 home visits in one recruiting cycle. That would probably equate to visiting a prospect like 5-10 times a day.

I have always thought of the $ in our budget as not just a measure of cost, but also of effort.  You have a limited budget of $ time and effort to expend on the kids.  Even a free phone call consumes time and effort

If it's a male coach recruiting a female player on a women's basketball team, I would be a bit more concerned with 150 home visits.
