Another Coach Versus Level Question Topic

Okay, this is similar to the post I started below, but a different situation.  I have the following Pitching Coach ratings:

MLB - 80
AAA - 60
AA - 74

I have a solid #1 pitching prospect just promoted to AA end of last season.  He's staying.  I have 3 good pitchers promoted to AAA end of last season.  2 solid relievers (age 22 IFA, and age 25 College drafted).  1 Starter (age 21 HS draft), should be staff #1 (maybe not Cy Young material, but staff ace unless a better guy comes along).

Poll question:  Where would you put the 3 guys currently in AAA?  (Should I demote them and risk hurting their development with a ratings hit?  Should I put them in MLB if it may be too soon for them?).

I most likely won't compete, but I'd rather invest in the guys now if it makes more sense in their development than worry about arb savings.  Thoughts?

If these guys make your team better, I'd call them up.  If there's no room, I'd sit them in AAA for the year.  I certainly wouldn't demote them.

Without looking at them, I would call up the 25 year old.  You have him on the cheap during his peak and able to long term him through his useful years if you want.  You say you likely won't compete but IF you think you have a chance to, go for it.  You'll kick yourself if you fall just short of the postseason.  The other pitchers it depends if they are better than the guys on your ML roster.  If the 22 yr old IFA was signed at 18, he likely isn't going to get much better than he is now.
