I know I saw the answer to this earlier, but can't find it. 

I keep getting out bid for Minor League free agents.  I raise the contract to with invite and still get out bid.  What am I doing wrong?

MinL w Invite is the best offer you can make before ML $327K.

The game engine seems to try to balance where MinL FAs sign. So nobody can sign all the SS, for example. I doubt you're doing anything wrong.

In the case of tied bids I believe the engine evaluates team depth charts, tries to put a guy where he'd have a chance to play instead of being inactive bench depth.
