*** DISCLAIMER ***  This thread is numbered.  It was originally intended to be contained in a single thread called REEL NEWZ .  That thread has been compromised, hijacked and destroyed.  Americans are ingenious people.  We have a history.  This is the fifth of many threads which could have been contained in a single thread.  Yankee ingenuity  has once again removed a liberal threat to free speech.

Dingy Harry Reid is trying to make people believe he’s offended by a comment made by a Senate candidate. Republican Bill Cassidy is running against Democrat incumbent Mary Landrieu, who, it turns out, doesn’t even live in Louisiana anymore.

Anyway. In a recent interview with the energy website Energy & Environment Daily, Cassidy explained that voting for Landrieu could harm hopes for a pro-oil and gas jobs bill because as Senator, Landrieu could return Harry Reid to his position as Senate Majority Leader. And Reid would block the bill from coming up for debate.

Cassidy said the Senate isn’t run like the “world’s greatest deliberative body.” If Harry Reid decides a measure goes forward, it does. If he decides to kill a measure, it gets killed. Harry Reid “runs the Senate like a plantation,” Cassidy said.

Well. When Dingy Harry heard about this, he started whining: “With all of the things going on in America today, that’s fairly insensitive. That’s really insensitive. Very insensitive. And if there were ever a statement that deserved an apology, this is it. Big time. I mean, has he been taking lessons from Donald Sterling? Where’d he get this?”

Harry Reid threw out rules that have been around since Thomas Jefferson, that allow the opposition to filibuster judicial nominations. Harry Reid won’t allow Senators to amend bills he thinks aren’t worthy. So skip the fake racial offense, Harry, you do run the place like it’s your personal plantation. If anyone should apologize, it’s you. Massa Harry!
