So, we have that player positions option under the coaching tab that allows us to change the position of our players for cosmetic purposes and postseason awards...

I just happened today to notice that it says that you cannot have more than five players listed at any one position. My hypothetical question is, suppose I have five players listed at a position and want to sign a sixth for that position during recruiting. Does anyone know for certain what would happen? Do I have to go change one player's position in order to sign the guy? Does the 5 players/position thing just apply to changes and has no bearing on recruiting?

Just curious...I've moved players around before, but this is the first time I've actually noticed the restriction listed about having only five players listed at a given position.

It just applies when making changes to positions, you could recruit 12 PG's if you wanted.  Some time recently I noticed all my guards just happened to be PG's, and I had 6 on my roster.  I was trying to change a PF to SF, but couldn't make the change until I fixed that problem.

Awesome -- thanks blouse! I was hoping it only impacted that screen, but as someone who once had a roster of 1 PG, 10 SF's and 1 C, I wanted to make sure before it bit me in the butt during a recruiting season.
