ATBA Season 18 Filled Topic

The ALL-TIME Basketball Assoc.  - 1984-85 Team Available
The ATBA is a single year draft progressive.  The inaugural draft covered the years
1951-1967.  Each player was drafted as a rookie and progresses one career year
each season.
At this point all of the inaugural rookie players drafted have retired
and the league has become a single season progressive.

Season 18 features the players & rookies from the year 1984-85.
Season 17 is nearly finished and Season 18 draft is next on the agenda .

TEAM TAKEN
Pittsburgh (18-60) currently holds the #4 lottery position.
It's a weighted randomized lottery with the #4 position getting 3 chances in 21 total for the #1 overall pick.
Pittsburgh - 1984-85 Roster
SF Cedric Maxwell - solid player for next three years.  a keeper
SG Otis Birdsong - 2 good years left Usage% 26.3, efg% 51.3 & ast% 13.6

C Dave Corzine - 5 good years still to play.  Journeyman post. Great bench player
PG Quinn Buckner - At the end of his career.  Will help off the bench now
PG Sleepy Floyd - At the height of his career. 1985-86 & 1986-87 are very very good PG!
PG Bryan Warrick - will contribute at PG this season.  Good bench payer
PG Mike Bratz - will also back up at SG.  Another nice role player
SG Dale Ellis - A STAR in the making.  When Otis fizzles Dale will be ready!  4 awesome years ahead!
SG Bobby Hanson - another very good role player for this team. efg% 49.0
IR Richard Anderson returns 1986-87

This team is set in the back court for the next 4 to 5 seasons.  Maxwell has some nice seasons left at SF.
Sleepy & Otis are a very good back court combo now and Dale Ellis is waiting in the wings to take over
at either SG or SF.  He'll drain treys from the years 1986-87 until 1989-90 at a dizzying pace.  Then he
has a number of fine years in the 90's when he played with the Spurs.  Bratz, Buckner & Warrick round out
a nice PG by committee trio.  One of these players could be packaged in a trade to upgrade the front court.
Bobby Hansen is a great bench player at either SF/SG positions.
The post is where this team is truly hurting.  Cedric is forced to player at his weaker position of PF.
Corzine at Center is a good journeyman player but he can't do it alone.  Somewhere and somehow
this team needs some bigs.  It's the reason Pittsburgh is currrently mired in the lottery chase.

productive and teams very well with Sampson at PF.  Louis Orr has his best year at SF. This
team features one of the deepest benches in the league.  John Lucas is solid as a back up at PG.

at both SG/SF.  John Long is another player who'll give you some nice minutes at SG.

Im interested in the available team, if its still out there.
Is there a site concerning the rules of the league, etc.
2/1/2015 11:31 PM
There is an entire private Forum for this League. The League is full of many long-term owners. Great season to be coming-in, as it's the best Draft in NBA history, and that has trade discussions at an all-time high. This team could easily acquire 3 or 4 very good players instead of 1, if the new owner so chooses.

So this is not full or is full?
99.9% sure the two teams listed are both available. May want to site-mail Commissioner seapilots if interested. He can provide all answers and get you access to the private League forum.
