Our league is currently playing in the '89 season of a 30 season progressive (to date).

As commissioner I have entered the Chicago Cubs roster into the '89 season (we are 34 games in) to get us going and looking for a replacement owner to jump in now and take over.

The reason I would like an owner to take over now is the team has a couple of tradeable assets and this team does need some attention heading forward. Below are the league rules followed by the current '89 roster for the Cubs.

• FIRST RND will run over 2 days @ 1 hr time slots (12 picks per day).
• Only players listed in the player pool are eligible for the draft
• Park Selections -You may change to an available park, which will move you to the city as well. We will retain league alignments. An owner may change divisions, but not leagues. For example if a AL owner decides to move to CAL, but he's currently in the PLE, he would move to the PLW and the most eastern team would move to the PLE. If you decide to move, you must do so with one of your regular draft scheduled picks. You will then have an extra pick added to the end of the RND following your last scheduled pick. For example, if you have 5 scheduled picks, and you make a park selection with your 4TH RND pick, a pick will be added to the end of the 6TH RND to make up for the player pick
• After RND 1 all time slots will be 30 minutes
• Smail next 2 in line
• If a player is listed who was part of someone's keeper list, then that player belongs to the owner who picked him during the draft. This is why reviewing the player pool to ensure that your guy isn't there is important. The reason for this rule is so that everything is laid out before hand and if we run into the issue it's been addressed. I've seen pools on hold for days because of this exact issue.
• If you make an uneven deal during the draft, or trade away a player for a pick next year you must make up that pick during the supplemental round
• League

  • No Cap, No Waiver Wire
  • DH in the AL. Interleague play will require NL teams to play DH vs AL.
  • Must meet 35 Ws by G120, or drop 5 spots in the draft.
  • RL draft of AAA players.
