Wanted to see what others thought. Wanted to see if it would be asmart idea ro sign 2-4 ineligable players who can one day start. Yes they would have to sit out the first year but after would have 4 years of playing. These players would have around a 50.0 rating, so they are good players. With my roster i can easily play 8-9 guys for the season. Just thought it would be better to have the ineligable guy then a lesser role player.

Oh really? I did not know that thanks for the tip. Thought of the idea since I signed 1 last year who I had planned on starting as a "soph" then came to realise that my best player had been signed before I came on board as an inelligable. That gave me the 5th year of eligability and will allow for me to win atleast 2 more games that I wold have not won without him.

But, it would still be better to sign 1 ineligable than a role player who will sit at the back of the bench and not get many mins.

Yup, but they don't always report.....the more effort you spend on him, the more likely he is to show up.

Ahh, havent had one not report yet but this game has so many quirks to recruitng it can drive a man to drink. I never understood how its so diffiuclt in hoops then so easy in football.

We don't absolutely know that more than one wont sign.  I think the forum wisdom is that no one has seen it happen

BUT of course, few folks have signed more than one nonqualifier so it remains possible that it could happen.

I think that there are reports that support has said that each nonqualifier decides independently.....don't know.

Here's a team with 2 SR/5's on it, granted it's a sim.  

humm, wonder on Franco is season 74 a RS season? Or did he just not play in any games? A player if have whos r/s says he reedshirted so they guy must just not have played in any games.

Sims can sign more than one ineligible and have both show up.  No doubt.  I've never heard a human report that both ineligibles had shown up.

humm, I know ill get 1, ill see if I can get multiple or not. But if nobody has seen a human do it then i dont think my odds are very good.

this assumes of course that YOU are a human

uhmmmm why not sign 2-4 FR who can start one day.

Why do you think ineligibles would make for better players? I don't get your logic.
