What will it take to beat out a D2 Sim AI? Topic

I don't have any experience with this scenario. What will it take for my D3 team to beat out a D2 Sim AI in a recruiting battle? The recruit is a Jr College transfer 20 miles away from me. My team has an A+ prestige. The Sim AI team has a C prestige. They have 8 roster spots to fill and, as of the opening recruiting cycle, they have 4 "Considered By" players. We have 2 open scholys. I am already committed to defending one talented recruit that is Considering us. My team has a little extra conference post season money, but don't want to waste dollars pursing something that is unlikely to happen. Would appreciate any thoughts.

i have only tried a few times but it has always been futile.

If he's a juco, did you scout that state?  what's the word on the street?  that's the most important thing to know.  If recruiting just started I'd wait until the WOTS comes out before investing any money.

Check the WOTS......if it VERY TIGHT or something like that it will cost 22+ HV's.......if it isn't, it will probably be at least 8 HV's

This is D3 vs. D2. I do have the state scouted, but I've never seen any "tight" messages at the D3 level. I wouldn't want to invest more than 5-10 HVs under the current circumstances. That's why I want to see if it would be even worth the effort in trying. Thanks for the input.

If that SIM has 8 open spots they have a lot of money. SIM probably put a ton of money in right away, but yes wait for WOTS. Also call coach and see if he is even recuitable. If your back up option than do letters and ST until he considers you.
