I could use some help in setting up my PG/SG/SF rotation. This is a good team, but I made the mistake of not having quality PGs.

Daniels has been my main PG by default, but I'm not sure how much his P:32 rating hurts. Jackson with his BH:46 does not seem like a good idea. Richardson is only a C+ in Off & Def IQ and my 9th best player overall, so don't want him playing a lot of minutes. Potolsky has the best BH/P combo, but he does not have the speed to play PG and I need to use some of his minutes at PF because he can rebound a little. There really isn't a good option, but wondering how I can best minimize the damage when going against the better teams in the Knight World NT?

I like what you've done...Daniels, Potolsky and Friedich at PG, SG, SF.  I, too, am not thrilled with Daniel's passing but all of your players have a weakness.

Affvid, you're record over the past four seasons is 116-10 with nothing less than a Sweet Sixteen so far. 28-1 this year, ranked #3 with an RPI of 6. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most coaches wouldn't mind making "mistakes" that lead to that kind of success, ha ha.

On a serious note, what's wrong with using Potolsky at PG? If you think he's just too slow (and I don't happen to but I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one), then put Jackson in there and let it ride!

I am not an expert, but I think that one attribute can sometimes help compensate for another attribute in this game.

Example:  I think that BH and Passing both impact turnovers and so one might be able to have a low score (say 50) with a high score in the other (say 90).  So that a 50 Pass / 90 BH guard can play point and not turn the ball over as much as you would expect.

Thanks for the input! I really appreciate it.

Yes, I've had a good run with this Pacific Lutheran squad. I took over a pretty good team 4 seasons ago when I was just getting started in HD and have been fortunate with my recruiting here as I have been learning the game. Recruiting hasn't gone as well for me in other worlds (especially at Monmouth in Wooden were I have made a mess of that team). I should have been experimenting with different lineups throughout the season, but, when playing against a lot of bad Sim AI teams (which is what our conference mostly has), it's difficult to know what is working and what isn't. The one time I tried starting Jackson at PG, he committed 7 TOs. That may have just been a fluke, but I don't want to find out the hard way that it wasn't.

I went with the Daniels, Potolsky and Friedich at PG, SG, SF for the NW Conference Tournament final game based on advice someone was kind enough to send in a sitemail message. I hadn't thought to use Potolsky at SG and Johnson at PF until he suggested it. It seemed to work well, but I might use a variation of that depending on matchups (just in case some future NT opponents might be looking in Lol).

Personally, I'd be starting Richardson at the 1, but in motion it's kinda close and I can see using Daniels...

I'm just willing to sacrifice a lot to improve passing at the 1 in the modern engine.

My concern with starting Richardson is that he has only a C+ Off IQ. (Daniels has an A- Off IQ.) Richardson does get a lot of PG minutes as the top backup.
