... going to be as painful a year for Averett as I think it is? I lost out on a couple battles for critical components late, so, have no seniors, my rebounding is ... Definitely not where I want it to be . . . yeah. And my scoring is definitely mishmash. At best I knew that with no seniors I was in for a transition year. So this just feels like I'm in for a royal beatdown this season. If I had acquired that extra center I was aiming at, which I lost at the end of a long too close to call battle, and the guard I was aiming at with the same it would have been a bit different. But I didn't, so there.
Even given that, trying to figure out how to arrange the current ten players properly for maximum efficacy.

Obviously despite being freshmen, I need to start the two post guys and likely stick Olson at small forward to put as much rebounding in the starting five as possible. Lanclos is also the obvious point guard. Blochberger ... Despite the lack of rebounding kinda has to back up the post for his other attributes. Desilets isn't there yet but has good potentials and I have to get him ten minutes a game, which I guess can come at SF. I gag at this but ... Blevins playing some power forward?
Yes, at some point if(when)the losses start pouring in I might just rearrange the depth chart purely for developmental purposes, but it's my policy to at the very least put the absolute best team I possibly can on the court - even when rebuilding - at least until non-conference is over and my stinking it up for development no longer hurts the conference as a whole. I am aware this is a 'lost year' for postseason purposes, but there we go.
