Off-field injuries, sure.  Had 'em before, right?

Just had a pitcher in rookie league go down with season ending shoulder surgery... after a game he didn't pitch in.  He pitched in the previous one.

He's not important, it's just one I hadn't seen before.

Sorry, how is it a new one? You just said you've had off-field injuries before. Doesn't that imply a player getting an injury during an off day/game in which he did not participate?

Sorry I wasn't clear... yep, the severity.  The others have been a few days, stuff like that.  One didn't even specify what the guy did, I figure he went to rehab like Johnny Football.
