I can't for the life of me remember: can B's talk to 5-stars? Top 25 OA recruits? No one? Thanks!

4-stars should be immediately recruitable.  5-stars generally need to be pulled down.

I think this is true as well, and I think Conference prestige also has something to do with it.

As a follow-up, I am moving into the Big Six at D1 level for the first time.  How high can a C Big Six program go after out of the gate?  Is top twenty five overall too high to expect traction?

Probably. It will also take a relatively miraculous set of events for you to land a Top 25 overall recruit as a C.

I think top 50 at postion is about yoyr limit,  i know for me VaTech it seemed that way.  once u get towards the C+/B- then it seems like top 25 at position is the limit and no 4/5 stars

As a point of reference, I was able to talk directly to the 5 star #6 PG (#33 overall) as a B prestige school on turn one .. he was more than 70 miles away.
