Biggest gain during a redshirt season Topic

I know players have reached triple-digit gains over the course of a season but that's with significant playing time. What's the largest gain you've seen out of a redshirted player during his redshirt season?

I ask because I just had a guy post a 65 point gain, but he only has a 58 WE so I'm sure there are better examples out there.......

I've got a PF, James Johnson, who plays for my Le Moyne team in Crum. I recruited him in season 72 and redshirted him; when I initially recruited him, his overall rating was 456, and by the end of his redshirt season, he was at 538 - an 82 point gain during the redshirt season.

During the summer/offseason he gained another 18 points, so by the time he finally took to the court in his first real game in season 73, he was up at 556 - 100 point gain between the time I recruited him/redshirted him and the time he finally got to play. 93 WE to begin with.

I'm sure there are guys who have seen more significant growth than that, but I was/am pretty pleased.

I had an 87, which was the highest anyone had when this last came up.

Roy Eaves, my current Soph. PF, went up 94 during his redshirt year (503 - 597), then went up another 24 over the off season.  So he essentially started his career as a 621 (+118).

He had an 89 WE but still, I was pretty amazed at how fast he improved.  He's a 784 now and the #1 soph in D2 Iba (would be the #2 Jr.) but he's virtually maxed out.  He may crawl across the 800 mark if he's lucky.  Only question is will anyone catch him.  Never had a player come close to this level before.  Previous redshirt record was probably in the mid-60s.

About a year ago I had a D2 player go up 104 points his redshirt year, 122 his freshman year, and 114 more his soph year. 
From 506 to 846 by the end of his soph season.  To start his junior season he would have ranked as the 5th best SF in D1. 
Although he was pushing his cap numbers, he still added 46 additional points over the last two seasons to end up at 892.
