We are understandably skeptical when they say "We're doing this to help --insert whatever promise made-- in the future." Mostly because we've been told this or that would be happening and it never does. However, their most recent "under the hood" updates have worlds simming so much faster. My last world to sim used to finish up 45 minutes or so after the cycle began. Now it's 20ish minutes.
So, maybe, this time they are going to actually do some updates to the games. And, hopefully, they will be good, necessary updates and not change for the sake of change.
