DSPL (Double Season Progressive League) is a unique progressive in the Wif Sports Basketball world.
The drafts are normally star studded and very deep with talented players. Rosters are filled with the
very best players from the 1960's & 1990's.
The inaugural draft featured the years 1951-52/1979-80. It has been a strong stable league with many
long term owners.
TEAM AVAILABLE - Brooklyn Nets 30 - 26
Currently 2nd place in the Atlantic Division
tied for the Eastern Conference 5th playoff position
ROSTER
PG Terrell Brandon - still a force at the 1. Next season he'll continue to dish the dimes
PG Greg Anthony - makes a nice combo with Brandon. Great ast% solid next season
SG Reggie Miller - At the zenith of his career! $6M this season & next. Money from the beytond the arc!
SG Allan Houston - Perfect off the bench for Reggie. Another long range bomber
SF Julian Hammond - An unheralded ABA player who is solid this season & next. Great value here.
SF Gary Trent - Another nice player at the 3. He scores, rebounds and plays decent defense.
SF Buck Williams - Not the dominant player of the late 80's & early 90's but he's solid off the bench
PF Charles Barkley - Not the superstar he once was but still plenty to offer. 40+ creb & nice ast% 13.0+ for a big.
PF/C Jim Eakins - Solid ABA journeyman who has plenty to offer. Scores efficiently, can pass & decent rebounder.
PF/C Tyrone Hill - He REBOUNDS and good efg%. Did I mention he can rebound especially on the offensive boards.
C Greg Ostertag - The 7 footer anchors the post defensively 80+ Def & he rebounds very well. low usage%
C Oliver Miller - His best is behind him and it may time to release him to the salad bar. 1999-00 is a nice season tho.
This is a fun team and even better your guaranteed at least a buck credit for a playoff appearance. Looking for a long term
owner and this club will be a playoff contender for the next few seasons. With the double year drafts you'll be able to
add some good talent to compliment Reggie.
