I have not recruited any of these type of players because they are usally at great distance. I feel I missing some opportunity's though. Do any of you guys have tips for this type of recruiting that your willing to share. If not here in a site mail. Thanks for any help.

I don't know about transfers but I RS local JUCO guys all the time......you do need to inform........I generally get the guy to consider me, then inform and send 3 HV's the same or next cycle.....it works pretty well but can be expensive past 100 or so miles.....CA has  alot of JUCOs and so does NJ and I think KS.....

Thanks Joe I was looking for more like do you send and bunch of calls and letters to get them to consider you? I have never recruited one and was looking for help of the way you get them to consider you without going through the learning curve of wasting a bunch of money the wrong way. Like I said most are 600 miles and out and i have never recruited anyone out that far. I guess it wouldn't be just for JUCO but any player at great distances.

40 calls, 40 Letters and a scholarship will normally get a recruit to consider you......
