DSPL 68-69/97-98 2 Available ONE FREE Topic

DSPL (Double Season Progressive League) is a unique progressive in the Wif Sports Basketball world.
The drafts are normally star studded and very deep with talented players.  Rosters are filled with the
very best players from the 1960's & 1990's.
The inaugural draft featured the years 1951-52/1979-80.  It has been a strong stable league with many
long term owners.

2 Teams available for next season 1969-70/1997-98.

TEAM 1
St. Louis Hawks Midwest Division 29-33
1st round pick will be somewhere between #9 - # 11 overall
ROSTER
97-98 Alonzo Mourning - C 2 HOF years immediately ahead + this yr. Usage% 26.8, efg% 55, DEF 70 & CREB 32
69-70 Connie Hwkins - SF Career year with 4 great ones still to come.  Usage% 23.2, efg% 50.7 & DEF 53
97-98 Vin Baker - PF His career best year. Usage% 24.7 & efg% 54.3
69-70 Lou Hudson - SG His career best year Usage% 24.3 & efg% 54.7
69-70 Lenny Wilkens - PG 5 years of his best still ahead.  Unheralded & steady at the Point. Ast% 26.0 & D 53
69-70 Nate Thurmind - PF/C 4 great years left (2 $8M).  Awesome rebounder & Defender.  CREB 33, DEF 70 & Fl/48 2.8
69-70 George Stone - SF  solid bench player
69-70 Darrell Imhoff - PF/C one solid season left. efg% 54.5
69-70 Larry Brown - PG A coach on the floor. Ast% 22.9
69-70 Art Williams - PG Great back up at the 1.  Ast% 33.3, DEF 62 & Usage% 15.0
69-70 Ray Scott - PF Great sideburns.  Looks good siting on the bench.
69-70 Wali Jones - PG last decent season.  Will look good on the bench next to Scott.

A 69-70 old school team with two awesome 97-98 players Vin & Zo.  With a top 10 rookie pick in a
deep & talented draft this team will challenge for the division title next season.  Your front court
will score and you have some versatility with 3 great post players in Zo, Vin & Nate.  Zo & Nate
play great Def and Baker is a creative scorer in the post.  The Hawk is an All Star at the 3.
Sweet Lou is a scoring machine at the 2.  Lenny & Williams have the PG handled an will do
a nice job dishing the dimes & playing some good Defense.
OVERALL this team is on the rise and will be competitive for the next 3 to 4 seasons. A good team
who needs a smart GM to go deep into the playoffs.

TEAM 2 - FREE TEAM
Chicago Bulls - Central Division
At first glance the names on this team are eye popping and the have been one of the
very best in this league for the past many seasons.
ROSTER
Hakeem Olajuwon
Dennis Rodman
Chris Mullin
Derek Harper
Mark Price
Latrell Sprewell
Dale Ellis
Michael Cage
Bryant Reeves

Now for the bad news.  All of these players are playing on fumes.  Their best years are all behind
them.  Plus the 1st Round pick has been traded for this coming draft.  The good news is the
owner who had this team is fronting the cost of the next season.
If you willing to be patient and receive a $10 GC to boot this is a great rebuiding opportunity.

It's a great league to be part of and the double drafts always feature some superstars and plenty
of solid talent to build with.  In 2 or 3 short seasons you can rebuild this team into your image.
