Ignore the 3 WE at the start of his SOPH season, it was a RS I took off before the season started.

He gained 54 points over 4 years.

IQ only got to a B+.

I pretty much tried to maintain DEF, LP, REB and PER, I put minutes in COND, BH, PASS, and FT.

And this guy started at a 12.....He did redshirt his SOPHMORE YEAR.  He has about 10 more games left, I suspect he'll grow a few more points in most categories.

He isn't anywhere near to maxing out but is a pretty solid D3 PF.

with your case studies, I made the decision to go 15 WE the lowest, but it's my decision. I see we could make a case for 10.

You can get real growth from guys around 12, the single digit guys are tough.   Starts are a must though, the earlier the better.   I have some unhappy results from more guys, I'll post them when I get a chance.

I tried a couple of low WE guys, but didn't like the fact they were kind of holding back the rest of the team, since I wanted to put more minutes into team practice by their junior and senior seasons.

Hmmm, check out his offseason growth / decline each season:

1st offseason: -9 overall
2nd: -6
3rd: +8
4th: +16

I usually don't look at guys starting under 20 WE .. most of the time 25.  I do see that 15 might be better if you afford to start the guy and he needs growth.

All of that is moot for really good players, who do not need any growth, to be able to play .. like most top 5 players at a position in Div-1, etc.  IF he can play his whole career as is, I would obviously take him regardless of WE.
