offensive rebounds playing zone Topic

so i obviously understand the handicap of playing zone defense, as it pertains to giving up offensive rebounds. my Bowling Green team has always struggled to keep our opponents off the offensive glass. my question being...if you double team one of your opponent's big men, does that then put you out of position and potentially lead to your opponent getting even more offensive rebounds? i lost a game last night where my opponent's 15 offensive rebounds were a major factor in the outcome. i don't believe he has a much stronger rebounding team than mine...but then i began wondering if my decision to double team his center contributed to offensive rebounds. thanks in advance for any input!

I don't think so, and I wouldn't use one game's worth of results as evidence to the contrary.  I just don't think there's any logic at that level programmed into the game.  But I'm not really sure... you could send a ticket to ask.
