Probably a dumb question, but does WE effect IQ?

Scouting a guy with good stats but 1WE, if he'll learn the O/D well I'll get him.

Yes it does.  Low WE = slow IQ growth.

1 is a killer.  If he starts at a F (or D) he won't ever get past a B.

might want to consider redshirting such a guy.  It wont help his skill ratings - those will go up a few points during the season and lose points in offseason - little or no groth net

BUT, IQ never goes down.  So, an extra season can help a guy with terrible WE get useful in IQ by JR or SR year

Make sure that the ratings he has now are good enough to play as he's not going to increase regardless of the number of blue potentials.  At best he gains a few points at the cost of some other ratings and then loses a good bit during the offseason
