There is a problem.    It's either not enough owners or too many worlds.   Barring some mass sign-up for HBD, this problem is not going away.    But it could.    There are two ideas being floated.

Upgrade AI and allow sim-owned teams.   Basically, a commish could hit approve with unfilled teams and Simmy would run those teams.   Public worlds would roll after x-number of days with sim-owned teams.

Allow commissioners/worlds to customize(downsize) number of teams.    Basically, commissioners/owners in struggling worlds can ask WifS to downsize the numbers of teams(16, 20, 24, 28) for eternity.   Players on removed teams could be deleted or become FA.


Which would you prefer(should WifS recognize the problem)?

Option C: keep merging worlds.

Probably, keep merging worlds and archiving others, then creating new worlds once there are too many owners wanting spots, but with no more room for them.  An interesting reversal...

Sim works for GD because there isn't trading.  I wouldn't like it in HBD
