How rare is it for a 31-yo with most of his career in AAA, including the present, to gain a point with a ratings update during playoffs (might have been when playoffs began)? His pP4 went up a point, also boostig his OVR back to a career best 71 after 3 seasons at 70. I wonder whether other ratings also went up slightly but that was the only one that rounded up to a visible increase. Rare but seen-before? Or a new development for, ahem, development? AAA PC is nothing special but BC has a solid 66 pitching rating. Training/Med are 14/14.

I've seen it.   More with position players gaining a skill rating(not a physical rating) in their early/mid 30s.
