If I have a player on my team that I have already redshirted and would be a redshirted freshman can I still sign a 6 man class and redshirt one of them? Or will it only allow me to sign 5?

I think the redshirted guy counts towards your 6-man freshman class

Ahhh but what if you inform one of the 6 incoming freshmen the he will be RS'd prior to signing!! Just throwing it out there I don't think it would work but that would be killer!! Just think you would have 1 senior who was RS'd the year prior to the 6 FR class, 1 junior who came in with 6 FR class who was also RS'd and then the 5 real seniors...it would be a very high IQ team and most likely very hard to beat!!

i don't think that matters, as you can't red shirt until after they all show up on campus. at that point, you'd be over the 6 player/class limit - so your AD wouldn't allow the scholarship to be given to another freshman.
