As a newbie, I have budgeted $11M for training for my team.

I have had eight injuries since August 12th, mostly minor league players but also three major league pitchers (including my best starter).

Is the $11M way too low, or have I just been really unlucky?

Everyone I have spoken to says to get Training to the Max ASAP. I'll let one of the vets verify this but I have heard training prevents injuries, helps increase prospect growth and slows the decline of veteran players.

Training - This refers to the value allotted to preventing injuries. Training specifically refers to the preparations made by players and staff to keep the team healthy. While some players will always be more injury-prone than others, spending money on training can significantly limit or minimize player injuries. In addition to preventing injuries your previous seasons budget will impact certain ratings during the offseason. The ratings that are impacted include power, stamina, durability, and velocity.

Most experienced owners get it to 20m and leave it there.
