Where can I find a league that is just starting out from the beginning and how can I join?  Each of the teams that I have managed are at least 5 years in and I would like to try from the start and build my team as I wish.  The only thing I have seen in the classifieds are existing leagues that are several years in.

There are no new worlds being created.

And even if there were, you would find that the initial attraction of a brand new world would wear off pretty quickly.  Teams in new worlds are often burdened with bad contracts for poor players, and there is an overall lack of talent available.

Joining an established world is really the better option.

And, quite often, once the new car smell wears off, there is lots of turnover.   Better off finding an established world with little turnover.    You can build your team as you wish just as well.   After all, you're taking over a fully stocked team either way.

Got it, thanks!  I was just under the impression that there was an initial draft from a giant pool of players to fill the teams.

No, you're assigned players.    You have no say in who you start with.   In fact, you have more say when joining an established world because you can view the team and say "Yeah, no thanks."   Not so in a new world.
