It's getting late in the recruiting process and I've been waiting for a guy who declared my team to be a backup to circle back and tell me he'd consider me.  I only have enough cash for 5 scouting trips and a scolly, so I'm not sure if pulling down will work.  Will he be more likely to come on board because it's later in the recruiting process or is the amount of scouting trips required unchanged regardless of how late it is? Thanks in advance for any insight you guys might have.

I have pulled down guys with  less than 5 ST.

If it gets stuck, try guaranteed start. Make sure to give the scholly. I'd do 3 STS, a scholly. If it does not work, guaranteed start.
