Help with scholarship message Topic

Just received a scholarship message that I am unsure of.  Having played this game for several years I'm sorry I have to ask this question, but didn't see it listed anywhere on brianxaviers spreadsheet or my go to thread for such matters.  Anyway, the message is:

Coach, I'm really on the fence right now - you've said everything I needed to hear, but so has another school. I can definitely see myself playing for you next year. I just can't decide yet.

Should be ahead.  It's a very similar message to 3A on that list you linked.

If you're behind can you ever get ahead spending money? Sent a guy 6 CV so far and word of the street says he's definitely leaning other school. Should I just give up or keep trying since I'm invested?

No, if it's a SIM, at one point you will get ahead. He is considering you, send out money. It could take over 20 if it'S d1, I had to do it once.

Definetly leaning towards is easy to beat, maybe he was tight or something and you ended changing the word on the street.

It's a human but been a weird cycle. I was on his considered school list after one cycle, then next I was off until I sent more CV's. Seems odd.

Would also decline minutes but say

Coach, Concordia (WI) has some good aspects. I don't want to get stuck on the bench though.

Are you D1, if so, check out prestige and number of schollies... I mean, some battles are not Worth it.

D3 against an A-, I'm an A.

then its all about distance brackets (0-200, 200-360,360-1400,1400+) and money.

if you are behind, then yes, you can come back and win by spending - if you can spend more overall than the other guy! and by "spend more" i mean adjusted for distance and prestige - prestige being almost a non-factor in d2/d3. there is a small considering credit bonus but especially in d3 its not really something you have to worry about. being behind at some point means nothing, its overall effort at the end that matters.
