Everytime a walkon is required, it is ALWAYS at the position you need it the least.  I propose if a walkon is required a Coach gets an email that after tryouts you have these few players that show promise, and you get a list with a position they play and you select the guy or guys you want!  Walkon do not get on a team because of ability in real life, they are nothing more then practice bodies that are required for practice.  So why if you already have six guards, does HD always give you another guard?  Let us select the position we take the walk on at!!!
