Is there any interest in getting one filled. I have had a team entered for a year I think and the league only has 6 spots filled.

I'd forgotten about the Champs League. Played in quite a few "back in the day" but am no longer interested.

Ok I'm in for 3 months. I try limit myself to only one open league a year but I'll make an exception.  Leagues like these just aren't very competitive though. My hope is that some owners with a good history of winning get in. Highly competitive 80-100 cap theme leagues serve the same purpose with one or two of these starting up every month. 

I hear you on the OLs...I play there, but usually to test. Is a decent place to work on ratios of offense to pitching, and try different ballparks.

Would be nice if the Champs leagues would fill faster. Perhaps I will run an add so people can see that one is in the works...

I believe it's double the prize amounts. It's a better option. People are simply creatures of habit when they only play in the standard OL. 

Might be interesting to try one after the update. I think one of the reasons CLs died is because, even more than in OLs, most owners were really playing to win.  Thus, it was a cookie hell.

We've got what is for all intents and purposes a champs league filling right now in the classifieds...including reigning WIS Champ WaitNSee and 2-time champ brianjw.
