So, I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner but buying the 5 pack costs pretty much the same amount per season as buying a single season. A single season costs $12.95 while a 5 pack costs you $11.99 a season. So you save a buck. The site says a 5 pack gets you 5 seasons of HD action for less than $8 per month. 

So they put the cost per month which makes it seem like it's per season? So since a season lasts over a month (for a 1 a day world), I guess the math sort of works out?

Yes, you can do the simple math and see it's not really $8 per season but that is really deceptive, right? They should either fix the pricing or fix what it says for how much you're really saving by purchasing the multi season packs.

I sent in a ticket about it and will see what they say.

The 5 pack saves $1 a season, which saves $5 for 5 seasons, which is what you are buying.  And either way, it's less per season.  If you don't think you will receive any rewards credits, then it makes sense to get the slight discount, otherwise it's better to use credits when you can.

In terms of $8 per month, the math works out.  A 1 game a day world lasts about a month and a half.  So 5 seasons * 1.5 equals 7 months.  $59.95/7.5=$7.993 per month.

I feel like when they wrote how much it was a month, 2 a day worlds may not have even existed yet.

Its still overall cheaper even if you have credits.  The credits can be used to buy the pack.  Your credits still go five dollars further on a five pack then they would have buying five seasons outright.

its true, the savings is in the 10 pac, down to 10 per season. i bought a 5 pac on credits not long ago for an alt id and was kind of ****** at myself, once you pay the 60, its hard to justify NOT paying the extra 40 for 5 more seasons (8$ per season marginal cost). 

Got a response from the ticket. They were pretty darn quick on responding so that was nice.

The gist from the response - "It can be confusing when trying to compare a per-season cost to a per-month cost. The "per month" language is based upon a one game per day world, which takes about 45 days.

When I brought up the 2x world not equating to 45 days and it's not super clear they said "Yes, I agree the "per month" wording can be a little confusing. I'll bring this up for discussion to decide if it needs clarification. Thanks."
