It took some doing, but I finally managed to pull it off. Red Lucas definitely got a disproportionate number of starts once Maddux hit 20 wins. Has anyone else managed to pull this one off?

I think I did it once a long time ago (like maybe 2007 or 2008). It was in an OL, with a VERY different pitching staff than this. I think they combined to pitch something like 1150 innings for a total salary of about $26 or $28 million. Team ERA was not great. But we scored a ton of runs. Won a ton of games, I think maybe 104, but bombed out in the LCS, as tends to happen with balanced pitching staffs and offensive teams. I'm pretty sure that team had some version of Red Lucas as well, though...

Just did it in an OL, albeit non-traditionally. Team won 109 games.
