Figured it would be a good time to bring this up.

Hawaii over Cal (and there multiple NBA draft picks)

Yale over Baylor

Arkansas LR over Purdue

and you know just Middle Tennessee over freaking Michigan State (and 2 nba draft picks and a poy candidate)

not upsets but UNCW played very tight with Duke, Buffalo kept it close with Miami, and Fresno kept up with Utah

"Arkansas LR" Is Arkansas LR a basketball school? If so I needed to do some more research and compared schedule with them. Is Yale a basketball school that is another reason why they won Baylor is a football school. I think Purdue is a football school as well. Middle Tennessee just came out of the blue unless they have more history than Michigan State that I am unaware of then I am preety sure Michigan State is suppose to win the game.

SFA is beating WVU at their own game and looking like they could pull it out.

I'm interested to see what Walkups HD ratings would be, one of those high SG/SF overall guys with 70-85 in most categories?

ha I was thinking the exact thing about Walkup. they destroyed WVU's press. that left-handed one hand bounce pass broke the press all night

Purdue couldn't be less of a football school, their program is a tire fire and their basketball team consistently performs way better. "Is a football/basketball school" is not a reason a team would win or lose a given game.

SFA loses to Notre Dame on a buzzer beater.

UNI loses to Tamu in 2OT.

Lesson learned, SFA and UNI had the talent and played better the first 95% of the game, but terrible coaching lost it for both non majors. SFA stopped playing offense with 3 minutes left and just went Walkup iso ball with a 1 basket lead and stopped scoring. UNI had the biggest choke job of any sport I've ever seen. Could not inbound the ball at all and then they got trapped twice and both times threw it towards Tamu and gave 2 easy layups, they could've iced it on the second one just throwing it as high up as he could.

You think coaching cost them the games? Its called being a mid-major and having no depth. One guy goes down and things fall apart. Tired legs from having to play real teams with only one days rest.

And to the topic there is still no "Parity". Yes there is always upsets but when year in and year out with the rare butler exception none of these mid majors have a change at 6 upsets in a row to win it all.
Look at the sweet 16 and what do you see even with the upsets this year? What conferences are those team from?
That's not Parity.

Gonzaga is the lone mid-major. Northern Iowa should be there... I mean, who is coaching that team? The collapse is bad coaching... Never seen so many guys get trapped and ask to get trapped. How did he spread it on the inbound, what was the strat? Stephen F. Austin came close. So did Xavier. Wichita State got tired, but was a lot better than what they showed the last game.

It's not parity but you can build a team that will compete and maybe Knock out one or two favorites.

I think Gonzaga with Sabonis and Wiltjer will get to the elite eight.

Bronson Koenig walked on his last three that put Wis in the W column. Everyone agree?
