Prospect
Question on how the system works in picking players. Does it run off of the position listed on the Prospect List or is it off the Player card? I know I messed this up before but I cant remember which way I thought about it before...my hunch is that it is off the Prospect list.

Best advice: go off of whichever one ranks the guy in a worst spot. I screwed up my last draft because a really good C was listed as a DH so my scouts passed him over.

one reason (but not the only one) why I always draft by best player available, and set my specific targets at 0 for every position and 25 for "any."

bigham23 (or anyone else)... I understand the reasoning for "25 Any". However, the couple of times I've used it I've ended up drafting 20 pitchers. How do you get around that?

I do 23 in "Any" with 1 in SS and one in C and then use the custom formula builder. It takes a lot of tinkering to get a relatively even distribution of position players and pitchers (usually involves screwing around with durability and stamina ratings). Then I go in and manually rank my top 30-50 guys depending on how patient I'm feeling.
