Why recruit this guy? Topic

My recruiting cycle is already over, but I found this guy while I was perusing the recruiting efforts of other teams in my conference. I cannot for the life of me figure out why 5 human controlled teams are recruiting this player. Am I missing something?

Occasionally a player (usually a bad one) will contact teams at D3 and say "hey, I can play." For whatever reason, it then shows him considering those teams even when the teams have put 0 effort into him. I would guess that is what is happening here.

I would have expected a player from the academy for individual excellence to have better work ethic

As one of the coaches on his list i can say he just contacted me and i was put on his list. There was no recruiting effort on my part
