I'm not sure if a full season has passed yet, but did the worlds that saw a big influx see evidence of anyone showing up and/or sticking around? Just curious

No Allen has about 20 days left. But most didn't even recruit and are all like 200+ rpi

All of the ones that joined my conference didn't recruit. One team has 4 walk ons. 6 teams in my conference are 350+ RPI.

If by didn't recruit you mean that existing users didn't use the free teams to purchase FSS, then sure they didn't recruit. Of course I am 100% speculating with nothing but a common sense hunch to substantiate the guess.

It's been years, but I stuck around after my free trial game.

Granted, I had a buddy who played this religiously. He told me about the free trial so that was me giving it a shot.

I still see such huge potential with this website that is... untapped. The NFL draft has become a phenomena of epic proportion. Regular Joes are getting brushed up with all first round prospects at a minimum just for fun. I for one think a GM game could be made that centers around the draft. The trick is not having a "crackable" process. That's the Madden problem, every year, you can usually scout 1 or 2 things and you end up finding the best players throughout the entire draft including round 7 HOF players. There would have to be dozens of "responses" to every question and scouting type. Potentials (once discovered) would not be guaranteed. There are players all the time with crazy high potential based on athletics that work out and don't work out. Best way, is to come up with a lot of possible "responses" and release the game. Then, keep working and come up with new ones. Once things seem to be getting stale or cracked, boom, swap out all of them.

There currently as many human coached teams in the bottom 40 of RPI are there are in the top 40. A lot of ghostships it seems

Not sure I understand. You're saying that you think that people who already had teams signed up fake teams using the free season to cheat and use FSS for their own teams?

You can't purchase FSS when you're a first-season Coach that joined with either the FREEHD or the $4.95 discounted price, correct?

I believe that is correct, yes.

I played my first season with the HD2016 promo code and I was able to purchase FSS, FYI.

Did you purchase more HD seasons as well? Or just one season (the free one)?

I played my first season with HD2016 also. It was not free, but only cost $4.95. I have since purchased seasons, but had not before the first recruiting season. I was able to purchase FSS. I do not know if it is different with the free season though. BTW, I love the game and look forward to playing for many seasons.

Ditto for me. Didn't purchase more seasons until well after recruiting was over for my $4.95 season.
