Apparently this response

constitutes this player declining my inform of redshirt plans. I would never have guessed that from the way that was worded.

That is confusing. It makes me wonder if they didnt out source the programming to a jr college in china.

Update: The player then accepted the redshirt without complaint. Apparently the "Declined Inform of Redshirt" in the Recruiting History was incorrect.

As long as you inform of redshirt prior to signing and the kid signs with you he'll always take the redshirt without a WE drop.
