Replacement Owner Budget for Following Season Topic

I took over a team and want to keep it for the following season. Does anyone know if I have to go off of the former owner's budget, or do I start again from scratch like it's a new ownership?

If you took over in mid-season, you're carrying over the previous owner's budget and can adjust it accordingly.

You can't. When you took over the team mid-season, you "inherited" everything about the franchise. Including the current budget.
