I go -5 when the other team doesn't have a significant ATH advantage on me. If my ATH and DEF are low and I am worried about fouls I usually stop at -2 or -3.

Result: first half was -3 and a 27-42 advantage for the other team; second half was -5 and a 41-30 advantage for cubcub.

I would defer to you on that but would you mind explaining why that is? I would think you would push further into the - if your opponent did have an ATH advantage (when perimeter isn't really a factor) to protect your boards.
