I'm a commish of a league now in season 31 and several of the owners are interested in merging with another league so we can start from season 1. If you have a league that's also interested, please sitemail me.

You'd be better off being proactive. Sitemail the commish of worlds with a lot of openings instead of waiting for someone to come to you.

Do you start from Season 1 if you merge? Or does one world just get merged into another and that world continues on?

You start from season 1 but each owner that stays on keeps their entire franchise, except for previous statistics.

All previous info is wiped away. You basically start out as a new world. You also don't want to change budgets in Season 1 or else they will revert to newbie owner levels. At least that's what I was told when we had our merger.
