The long-running Real Life Progressive league is looking for a new Boston Red Sox owner. This is a really competitive team stocked with long-term pitchers and tons of IPs, plus many long-term position players. We have completed the regular draft and are starting the AAA draft on Tuesday. This is Valenzuela's 1st year, and Sutcliffe becomes awesome in 1982, joined by Floyd Bannister with many good seasons, and Mike LaCoss and Bob Walk. You will be stocked at SP!
This progressive league is like most, except that any player who started his career in a season is available to be drafted that season in the first round. In other words, in 1981, Cal Ripken Jr., Ryne Sandberg, Chili Davis (drafted by Boston) and several others are "Prospects" that can be drafted -- they started their career in 1981 but were not WIS eligible. A prospect joins any players you have on the DL until he is WIS eligible. Draft order is based on reversed standings at game 120 (with a minimum wins rule). Draft slots are based on your number of keepers. Keep 20 and you get 5 draft rounds. If you select a prospect in the 1st round (meaning someone who played in 1981 but wasn't WIS eligible), you can pick up your 25th player in the supplemental draft round, which occurs after the normal draft is finished. The rest is pretty standard, with 4 AAA that you select from the 1981 season, and a DH is used in the AL.
