Oklahoma in Knight - great team to take Topic

If any of you qualify for Oklahoma in Knight, I just left there to take Kansas. I honestly think it will be a pre-season #1 team. It already has three 5 star guys coming in for next year. I really had a hard time giving them up, but it is a GREAT opportunity to step in to a potential championship team this year.

There should be 7 players over 800 - actually 8, because one of the incoming freshmen is already over 800. Amazing guards. This looked like one of my best teams ever, in any world.

It is crazy to me that no one is gonna end up taking this team and how many openings there are at Big 6 schools.

How many people actually qualify for the job?

That seems to be the issue

I am starting to get a hang of the new game and really want to purchase some additional seasons, but what may end up putting the nail in the coffin is lack of human competition. As I see it, some conferences across all of the levels are getting decimated by people leaving. When it stops being fun, people quit!!!!

this is why i suggested WIS consider letting new players start in the lowest D1 conferences...even if all the new players at D3 are retained, it'll be a year before they get to D1. of course, half the people ranting that they were going to quit are still around, so maybe it won't be as empty as it seems.

@chapel: i'm sure it is the case that very few coaches qualify the A-level jobs. they seem to have loosened the reins a bit on the lower jobs but the top jobs still have a pretty small group.

I applied as a long shot and was declined.

My last knight gig was Arizona where we had A prestige and a long run of NT appearances. Not good enough for the Sooners.

I get not qualifying, guess I didn't realize that many of the top level coaches had left. I guess I was used to 2.0 HD where jobs like this and all the other A prestige Big 6 jobs get gobbled up right away.

Nc State in Allen is still the only acc team left in the conference. They were like B- I think at least when the coach left.

I might've qualified (didn't look), but I also think I may have a real contender at South Carolina and hate leaving something I built when it's so close to (maybe) coming to fruition

I did not qualify, but I moved up to Wichita State.
