If a school has a 4th Sr w/ option to come back for his 5th year, should that count as an opening going into recruiting (for recruiting $ and AP)?
Up until a couple days ago it seemed to, but then my AP and $ was reduced by 1 player (his spot) prior to the start of recruiting. Does this mean he made the call to return without announcing it yet, or did WIS make a change?
He's still highlighted as an opening for next season.
The highlighting is a bug I mentioned way back in BETA and they should use the same logic they do to determine the resources for the highlighting.
Players who could stay for the 5th year who are over the cumulative 2.8 GPA threshold do *NOT* get allocated resources (I don't know about players who are under that threshold). I think WIS makes a determination at the start of the season and if your recruit falls below the 2.8, you won't get any resources until the 2nd recruiting session (i.e. similar to a player transfer).
