Reducing minutes promised Topic

I promise a recruit 15 minutes of playing time then reduced it to 10 minutes after I had already offered him a scholarship. If I click on him I am no longer on his list of schools he's interested in (only 2 schools are left), but on my recruiting home page his interest in me is shown as very low. It is no showing he's 0% warmed up to a visit or for me to be able to promise minutes. Do I have any chance to still get him?

I don't think you have a shot anymore. This will also happen if you remove a promised start or pull a scholarship offer (after they have processed). It seems that if you anger a recruit in this way they will no longer consider signing with you. You could try keeping a few APs on him for the next cycle. If your percentages increase you might have a shot.

Probably better to move on, hopefully you have backups. I know that if you rescind a scholarship that there is no chance the player will ever consider you again. As for reduced minutes, it might be the case that you are starting over again but I wouldn't count on it.

What if you re-offered the 15 minutes, or upped it to 20?

As I understand it, he can't offer anything but APs at this point, and it will be tough (impossible? I don't know) to get in consideration again. That's by design. These fake players don't want to be jerked around.
