Job acceptance question Topic

Does anybody know how long it takes to find out if a job application has been accepted or declined? I applied for a P5 job at 9 AM that I'm qualified for and 2 cycles have come and gone without a response. If I get declined eventually, I'd like to know if I have time to apply for another one.

Once job period starts, there is a 24 hour window where no decisions are made to give people time to apply basically.

Thanks - maybe I should have added that we're in the second day of acceptances so jobs are being accepted every 3 hours since 2 AM, just no word on my current application. I guess we'll see.

It looks like you were successful, congrats!

I think my record is having to wait four cycles to get a verdict. I think it's good they leave desirable jobs open for a few cycles, but it can be a tough wait.

Yeah, it's kind of BS. A job I wanted came open late yesterday. So I applied. Now it looks like I won't find anything until the final 8pm cycle and will have no time to scout recruits if I get the job before the second cycle starts processing. Throw me a bone folks!

Starting with first cycle it is a 24 hour period. After the initial 24 hours, if you apply you are notified 12 hours after you apply. If the end of the job change period comes, all applications are processed no matter how long it has been.
