Pretty straightforward question, my current scouting strategy persists of FSS about 15 states (I am in Texas) Hitting everything I can get within about 1000-1500 miles. I then do a max local camp for D1 only so I clean out the 500 mile range. Then I go to all the elite camps to make sure I get vision across the country. After all of this I pick and choose who else I scout to uncover full stats.

My question comes in with international scouting as with my current plan I can only scout maybe 4-5 international players completely. Is that normal at this point as I do feel like my impact international is minimal and I am unsure if I'm scouting poorly or if I should worry about getting more international vision.

At highish D1 (like B and above) I normally FSS internationals first and then Assistant search scout. If you do it before camps and everything else, the Assisstant search will only get the top 100 recruits, the old guys who didn't sign last year, and the internationals. It's pretty cheap to do this (like under 20k).

So basically you choose the option to scout existing players after FSS International. Isn't there a chance he only goes after top 100 players? He only scouts 25 at a time right?

Yeah, I figure I am probably going to scout those guys anyway so whats the difference. Sometimes I do all the local players first and then just ride out the internationals. The key is to no have to many options so the internationals have to get chosen.

makes sense! I plan to be pushing more international once I move my prestige into the B range and compete farther than local.
