College Baseball Progressive League
Owners will select a college and ball park when they sign up. If possible try to match up your pick with a ball park from the same area. I will pick my college and ball park after 12 or so have signed up.
After 24 owners are signed up ( I might be willing to play with 16 or 20 teams but prefer 24) I will get a random draft order from an owner not in the league.
For the draft you can draft any player in the database from 1885 to 1940. As seasons progress we will add the rookies from the next season ( 1941 in season 2, 1942 in season 3 and so on.)
You will only be able to use the players 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th WIS seasons. In some cases a players 5th WIS season could be eligible. A players 1st season is his freshman season, 2nd season sophomore, 3rd junior and 4th senior season. You may start your players career any season but at no time will he compete past his 5th WIS season.
Each season teams will be able to red shirt 2 players (including the 1st season). A player can only be red shirted one time. A red shirt player is the scenario for a 5th season being used.
You will also be able to drop 2 players each season. If these players have eligible seasons left he will be placed on a transfer list and be available in the next draft.
You are not required to red shirt or drop players.
Due to the large number of players I will not be providing an available players list for the 1st season draft. As we progress a list of rookies will be posted along with a list of those already drafted.
Each team will carry a roster of 29 players (25 man roster and 4 real life AAA players).
Salary cap will be 120 mil
No trades, WW or DH
Players, colleges and ball parks are exclusive.
