Recruiting question Topic

if you plan to cut players during recruiting cycle 2 and sign players to replace them, if you fill your current scholarship openings, do your unsigned recruits reset? Or do your offers stay on the table?

Don't think they would reset, just can't sign if there isn't a spot available.

Your scholly offer is on the table, but they can't sign without an open spot.

Last season I was on a promising D1 recruit at D3 in period 1, and gave up because a D1 school offered a scholarship. But in period 2, all the open spots on that team's roster filled with other recruits. The scholly offer stayed on that player, but obvi he can't sign with them without an open spot. So I got him. Something to look for in recruiting.

Good. I’m on a few recruits that D2 and D3 schools are on against my Florida State team. I’m going to cut several sim ai recruited players so that I can sign the max which I’ve heard is 5, correct me if I’m wrong. But I currently only have 2 scholarships so I don’t want to waste my time recruiting the other guys if it’s for naught

You can sign a maximum of 6 (six) scholarship players in any given class (if you redshirted a freshman in the previous season, then you would only be able to sign 5 additional freshman recruits in the subsequent season). Any additional recruits will have to come from other class designations.

You can have 7 (or more) players in a non-freshman class on your roster but only if you redshirt a player after signings (ex. you recruit 6 freshman and then apply a redshirt on a sophomore, the following season you will then have 7 sophomores).

The SIM AI doesn't follow these restrictions and can recruit freely.
